Roads in Ilesa West Receive New Look As Residents of Oke-Alaafia in Ilesa East Laments Over Uncompleted Road Projects

imose Quarters, along Babajide School of Prophet, ijebu-jesa road, Ilesa and other areas in Ilesa West Local Government Area of Osun State among others are wearing a new look owing to the intervention of Osun State Government for the betterment of the people within the vicinity.

The project is being handled by direct labour in Osun State ministry of works and infrastructure under the supervision of Gov. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke according to reports from the office of the local government chairmen in Ilesa West LCDA and Ilesa West Central LCDA, Honourable Oladiti Adebanjo and Honourable Wahab Arewa.

The report added that the engineer on duty declared the sustainability of the road having used best and quality materials provided by the state government

The community men and women popped out en masse to appreciate the efforts of the State government and Gov. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for remembering them at this hard time

Meanwhile Residents of Oke-Alaafia in Irojo, Ilesa East Local government of Osun state are grumbling and frustrated the uncompleted grading of roads in the area

They are of the view that It’s frustrating when essential infrastructure projects like road grading remain incomplete.

A community leader Mr Samson Adesokun said “Have they provided any updates on when it might be finished? Other Areas are getting government attention but we don’t know our offence here”

They came on Wednesday, graded parts of the road and left! That is not good enough.
