As the deadline for the closure of the window of credit provided for financing Ilesa Water project by Islamic Bank knocks at the door, Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi has urged the ijesas in Governor Ademola Adeleke’s cabinet to act fast to avoid abandonment of the project by the major financer .
Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi in a letter dated December 3, 2023 , a copy of which was made available to journalists, reads
Five days short of six months ago, on Thursday, 8th June 2023
According to Asiwaju Fasuyi, hisletter which was duly acknowledged at the Governor’s office was also copied to the Chief of Staff and Secretary to the State Government has not been made public until in the recent times.
He expressed hope that the Water Project will receive the deserved attention.
