In a bid to facilitate ease of travel for residents and indigenes during the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations, the Osun State Government, through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has announced the provision of a free train service.
This initiative, tagged “Imole Free Train Service,” is scheduled to transport passengers from Lagos to Osogbo and back.
The homecoming train will depart from Ido Terminus in Lagos next week Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM, allowing travelers to spend the festive period in Osogbo while the return trip is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2024, with the train leaving Osogbo Terminus at 12:00 noon, ensuring passengers can return to Lagos comfortably.
This generous gesture by the Osun State Government aims to ease the travel burden on citizens, enabling them to celebrate the important festival with family and friends.
