As the crescent moon heralds the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, The Alamuye of Amuye-Faforiji-Ijesa, Oba Dr Adebayo Faforiji has extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt blessings to all Muslim citizens and residents in Amuye-Faforiji, Osun State and Nigeria as a whole celebrating the auspicious day.
The Monarch in a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo on Wednesday urged Muslims in the spirit of Eid to embrace the values of compassion, generosity, and inclusivity embedded in the heart of Islam by reaching out to one another with kindness and understanding, recognizing and celebrating the rich diversity that enriches the society.
He said “As you gather with family and friends to share in the joy of Eid, let us also remember those who are less fortunate and extend a helping hand to those in need. In doing so, we honor the true essence of Eid – a time of giving, sharing, and caring for one another.
“May this Eid al-Fitr be a time of renewal and rejuvenation, filling our hearts with peace, happiness, and prosperity. May it bring us closer together as a community and inspire us to work towards a future of harmony and coexistence.
